Method
  1. In a bowl mix the cheese and butter together well. Stir in the milk.
  2. Sift together the dry ingredients and add to the cheese mixture. Lastly stir in the Pecans.
  3. Drop teaspoonfuls of mixture 5cm apart into scone trays lined with baking paper. With a spatula spread the batter into 1/4 cm thin rounds.
  4. Bake the rounds in a hot GAS over 200°C for 10 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.20
  5. Remove wafers with a metal spatula and serve as pre-dinner nibbles. Makes about 36 wafers.
